Expert in Nano-biotechnology, Encapsulation & Targeting of Bioactive agents with substantial number of publications, 8 Patents, 5 Books & several Book-chapters.
Author of the first book on Nanoliposomes; completed many industrial research projects, developed methods (e.g. “Mozafari Method”) for large-scale manufacture of controlled-release systems without using toxic agents. Recently introduced a novel technology for the encapsulation and delivery of bioactive material called "Tocosome".
Dr. Shamil Validov is now working at the Department of Advanced Research in Federal Research Center “Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences”, Kazan, Russia. He obtained MSc in Genetics (Russia – 1993). He received PhD in Biological Sciences – Institute of Biology in Leiden University, The Netherlands in 2007. His research interests include plant-microbial interaction, bioremediation, biopreparations for wastewater treatment, biodegradation of aromatic compounds, protein expression, structural and functional analysis of the proteins, genomics and genomes editing.
